At SHACK15, we’re proud to have a powerhouse collection of female members and entrepreneurs-in-residence in our co-working space. From first time founders to veteran entrepreneurs, supporting female entrepreneurs is central to our mission at SHACK15, and women make up 40% of our member base (and growing!)

As part of our celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, we’re highlighting some of the incredible female entrepreneurs at SHACK15. Hear from members of our community on their experiences as female innovators and entrepreneurs.

"One of the biggest struggles for women who find success is feeling like they don't really belong there—that the success is a hoax and something we're given, not properly earned. To overcome this we need to continue showcasing role models for our younger generations. For women who experience this: find a community to give you honest and thoughtful feedback and support, and never stop learning. Knowledge is power and it overcomes most objects in the end. Find your confidence in this and let go of the imposter syndrome.”

"International Women's Day matters to me, as it reminds me that the phenomenal world we live in today was not a reality just a century ago, and that my education, career and success were all made possible by the immense work of previous generations of women. This is what inspires me to drive meaningful change, and it also shows how much can be achieved through consistent collaboration of strong and talented people.”

Sophia Li

is a serial founder whose background as a digital marketer led her to found Clearmob, a tools for marketers to increase efficiency and effectiveness by using AI to optimize social marketing and bid campaigns.

"It's so important to find a community of women who will push you forward, even when you don't think you have it in you. I've seen many women sit back, pass on promotions or not take risks, because they thought they weren't ready. But if you have the support around you and people who are pushing you forward, you can end up taking on projects, roles, etc, that change your life.”
